Since the founding of Goderich in 1827 hand written records of our community have been kept, covering Council Meetings, Cemetery Records and By-laws. These records provide an over the shoulder view of how our ancestors created and grew our Town.

With the preservation and availability of the old records, citizens will be able to access the diversity and richness of Ontario's West Coast's heritage and history.

This site proudly displays digital versions of these records, dating back as far as 1850, please explore these records and experience first hand our town's rich history.
